Oroma Igwe | Organization and Program Manager

Oroma serves as MDAC’s Organization and Program Manager. In this role, Oroma oversees the coordination of processes central to MDAC’s daily operations, office management, and membership engagement, and she works closely with Senior Management to plan and implement grant-funded initiatives. Prior to joining MDAC, Oroma completed an Administrative Fellowship with Nassau University Medical Center in New York and served as an AmeriCorps Member with the American Red Cross, Central Ohio Region. Oroma serves as a Volunteer for Baltimore’s Health Care for the Homeless and Board Member for the Maryland Assembly on School-Based Health Care. She earned her Master of Science in Public Health from Meharry Medical College.


Robyn Elliott | Policy and Governmental Affairs Consultant

Robyn serves as MDAC’s Policy and Governmental Affairs Consultant and has over 15 years of experience in legislation, the state budget process, and health care finance. She is an expert in navigating the legislative and state budget process on complex policy and financial issues. She has particular expertise in health care reimbursement, health insurance, health occupations, and disabilities issues. Robyn has previously served as Director of Governmental Affairs at the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and a Senior Policy Analyst with the Maryland General Assembly under the Department of Legislative Services. Her health care finance experience includes being a senior financial analyst at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She has a Master’s in Health Care Administration from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
